I have a blister from boiling sugar?

so last Sunday i made caramel and accidentally got some on my finger, this instantly made a blister and I'm trying not to pop it because I heard you're not supposed to, but I feel like it's not getting any smaller, and it's been just over a week. so my question is what should I do? should i pop it or leave it?

If it's only been a couple of days, just leave the blister alone. If it's been 8 days and not getting smaller, you probably should see your doctor just to make sure there is no infection under the blister.

I would say soak it in water for like 5 or 10 minutes. This will make the skin moist and easier to pop if you wanted. If you do pop it, just cover it with a band-aid. and keep it clean. No biggie

The best idea, is if it has been over a week you should go and get it looked at to make sure that there is no infection.
