Do Not Get The Extended Download Service. It's a ripoff. Just go to symantec.com and click on downloads)>get help with downloads>downloads and orders>I want to know how to download...

Then just download on the computer you want it on and enter the serial or code or whatever.

You can do this any day of the week all year. DON'T GET EXTENDED DOWNLOAD.

you can put it on any 3 computers you chose!!!

    Don't.

For one, Microsoft offers a free solution with a 98% detection rate against viruses/spyware

Get Microsoft Security Essentials at http://microsoft.com/security_essentials

    Why not to get Norton?

Norton is more labor intensive than necessary which means laptop batteries will drain quicker and also since products like Norton and McAfee are considered the two mainstream items, they are often personally targeted by viruses that are newly released, so often Norton becomes cripled before it can ever get its updates. Just because they're popular doesn't mean they're the best.

If you absolutely want a paid version (even though not necessary) try AVG, Kaspersky, or ESET NOD32.
