Assuming you live in the same house, mild contact like sharing a drink won't really increase the odds of you getting sick.
But you'll probably get sick regardless. And there's nothing that will prevent illness in cough syrup, so spare your liver the strain of excess acetaminophen.

u might want to lysol the house,wash ur hands multiple times, and mainly stay away from ur brother for a few days
