Installing oil gauges in thunderbird?

I have a 1997 thunderbird and I want to install an oil pressure and oil temp guages. I got the 4.6 sohc. Is there a good place to tap in to the system or am I going to have to do some custom work. Please try and be specific. THANKS

The oil pressure guage is easy by replacing the oil sending unit with the correct sender . Temp guage would be a little different but would do on oil filter housing as it is aluminium and replaceable if damaged . You could get oil cooler from Police crown vic and see if you could adapt . Don't know about clearance issues thought. Did 2004 P.I. Vic conversion into sons 96 Tbird had some minor issues with little stuff that you wouldn't think would be issue but after doing could tell you the easy way around these . Got better heads and intake , did away with coil packs went COP , going with Mark VIII duals and 3.73 posi rear should wake it up .
