puppy has small lump under skin above arm?

I was recently petting my puppy dachshund when i noticed she has a small lump above her arm, under the skin... i was really worried about it. i left for a few hours and came back and the lump seems to be smaller then before. my girlfriend just gave her a bath and thinks it could be an allergy from the shampoo but i think it may be something else since it is under the skin.

I will be taking her to the vet if it doesnt go away by tomorrow morning but for now i just want to know what i should expect it to be

It might be a cyst, considering she's only a puppy. Then again it could be nothing.

Thank you for being responsible owner by taking her to the vet! There are FAR to many post on here saying "What should I do? blah blah I can't afford the vet blah blah"

I'll add a link that has a few questions to a vet about cysts.

Hope your puppy gets better soon!

There could be many possibilities. An allergy, a bug bite a harmless fatty tumor or cancer. You are being a responsible pet owner by taking the puppy to the vet. Hope he is fine.
