Do you hate it when people change lyrics in a song to suit their sexual preference or gender?

Eg. " I'll get him hot, show him what I got"

I heard someone singing it and he just had to change it to "her". Don't you think they should just sing the song how it was written?

Update:

I'm not petty, i just think there is no need for it.

not really music has a clever knack of speaking for the masses and becoming personal to everyone. My daughter disagrees with me though it's one of her pet hates.

Of course not! It doesn't alter the song that much and prevents the male singer from sounding incredibly gay.

It doesn't bother me. I don't let petty things get to me.

Is your tv stuck on one station? If you don't like it either watch something else or turn it off.

It doesn't bother me. They have to change it to something they can relate to.

Yes! imagine if these lyrics were changed:

"Baby where'd you get your body from? Tell me where'd you get your body from? I got it from my mama."

    to

"Baby where'd you get your body from? Tell me where'd you get your body from? I got it from my dada."

    Doesn't go does it?
