How much does it cost to rent a condo on the MD side of the DC metro area?
I keep seeing these ads for 2 bedroom condos for $800, which seems damn cheap for my area. I don't buy it though, do they mean 800 a year or a month? is that shorthand? or is it so hard to sell condos right now that they are just renting so they can get some kind of return on their purchase until they are ready to sell? I emailed these people but i haven't heard back from them. I'm not sure if that's because it was such a silly question to them or if it was because it was a possible scam, any help would be appreciated right now though.

Call a local realtor. They can get you one hell of a deal. They can also make sure the terms fit your needs. Since places aernt selling people are renting and since there is so much inventory, rents are low. Its the supply/demand effect.

Ignore the current economy DC and MD surrounding. areas the rental prices are still high. I would get on a real estate web page like re-max or long and foster they all do rentals. start there and the work your way out. "the 800 a month if these people call you I would highly suggest you take someone with you to look at the apartments just in case"
