I don't know if I fully understand what you are trying to accomplish... if you want to make the same statement with less "wacky wording" (which is what I think you meant) the following wording would be appropriate:
"eight less six equals two"
when using numbers in text you need to be consistent throughout your text i.e. use all numerical expressions or all written names of numbers.
