How can you tape a show or in my case a football game without having dvr or tivo?
My son is arriving at my house on christmas day and leaving the day of the next charger game, we don't get very many chances to watch games together. I was wondering if there was a way I could tape or record those games without buying dvr or tivo. I've heard about saving it onto a disk or tape but I don't know how to do that. Any answers are good. Thanks

You can get a DVD recorder, which work much like a VCR. Cheaper ones will need an external tuner.
At best quality you will get around 2 hours per disc, to get more you will need to reduce quality.
