What is the secret of being professional and good web and graphic designer?

Good web and graphic designer, that I don't know about.

Being professional, however, is key to anything. And that I can help you with.

Repeat after me : "Being professional is about knowing what people want and being able to give it to them."

Cut it up however you want, that's what a professional does. The better you are at doing that, the more professional you are.

So let's see how we can apply this to web and graphic design. If you're a designer, you have clients. These clients are paying you to do something for them. This means you need to give them what they want. It's three simple steps

1) Identify what they want

2) Research how to do it

3) Deliver what they want

The more experience you attain, the easier the steps get. You'll have suggestions for them on how to improve it based on past clients. You'll have a better of idea of what they REALLY mean when they say something. (A lot of times, they'll tell you what they want, but they really mean something else.) You'll have to do less research because you're more familiar with the technologies. You'll have an easier time delivering the product because you won't run into the same problems you've run into in the past.

Identify, research, and deliver - this is standard across ALL professional fields. Get this down, and it doesn't matter WHAT field you're in, you're going to go far.

Knowledge, experience and creativity are 3 of the things that you will need...I'm sure others will have great ideas
