Gr. Grandma Susie, did your family disown you when you married a man from Germany in 1893? Cause they sure clamp their mouths when I ask about you and him.
Gr. Grandpa George, where in the heck in Germany were you from--am I Swiss, Prussian or what?
Gr. Uncle Ammon, why did that revenoor lawman shoot you when you dropped your hands to cross the fence? and what happened to your wife and 4 children? (sorry, 2 questions!)

If you saw what this country was turning into after our last presidential election... would you have even bothered to fight to make it free in the first place?

1. What was it like to go through the immigration system in 1926/1939 (the dates the two sides of my family arrived)
2. What compelled you to leave your homes to try to find a better life in America?
3. How did you get by in your new home?
4. I'd ask how each of them met
5. Where specifically where you from, I already know the countries, but where in them? (I already know my Great-Grandfather spent his Pre-American life in a harbor shack in Tyre)
