    Because this is the ideal forum for people who don't understand that what is posted on Yahoo! Answers is no longer yours, and because this forum is filled with people who think the same. People who don't understand that are more likely to write bad poetry, and to respond positively and with lots of exclamation points to the bad poetry of others.

    It's depressing, no?

    It does seem that way, doesn't it? I guess they do it because they like to know what people think of their poems. Some people should ask questions about poets and not just poems themselves.

    Cause they want to ascertain people understand the gist of their poems and not misread their meanings. poetry writers are generally sensitive beings,sometimes it`s really hard to know what they think.

    So we can get mad at each other and say things like 'pants!' and turn each other into suspicious little trolls-in-training, never forgetting a slight, then make up and gush lavish lyrical love on one another so that we can write valiantly and expertly again and then get negative feedback so that it starts all over again.

    "Everyone" doesn't.

    It might seem that way way at first glance to you.

    Many are offering their words to get helpful suggestions;

    "fine tuned", if you will.

    You can read your own work only so long and an outsider sees it from a fresh perspective-

    I've posted answers, and gotten encouragement to post it as my own Poem.

    At times, it's a generous exchange.
