is it possible for osteoarthritis to develop at a very young age. i believe that hereditary factors may be at work

yes, absolutely. I know of several young people with osteoarthritis. If you suspect this, see a doctor. They can take scans and determine if this is a problem for you, and recommend treatment to help.

almost anything is possible but how likely to happen is the better question. Also what kinds of problems are being displayed to make one think about osteoarthritis?
