On Wednesday's GH what did you Soapers think of the Dinner with Sonny, Dante and Olivia?

It was sad that Sonny couldn't spend the holiday with his children, but, as you said, his own fault. He forgets that they're no longer babies and can make plans of their own. It was nice that he was able to spend it with Olivia and his son (though he doesn't know) and nice that Olivia and Dante could spend it together, but so awkward with all the secrets and lies. How can Sonny be so clueless not to see the connection between them? I can totally understand why Olivia kept the truth from both of them as Dante was growing up. She was afraid of him wanting to follow in Sonny's footsteps (as Michael does now). But Dante has been a grown man for many years now. His values and his personality are set. Does she think that he'll quit the police force and become a mobster if he finds out? Or is she just worried that he'll be upset with her? He is an intelligent man with good values and I'm sure he would've understood why she had kept the secret from him when he was growing up. But it's long overdue that she told him. He should've been told once he was a man, but certainly once he came to town to try to arrest Sonny! How can she let this situation go on? She no longer needs to protect him from Sonny and he has the right to decide if he wants to bring down his own father or not. Not telling Sonny is one thing, but not telling Dante is just wrong.

Oh, yes...it will happen. My question is: does anyone think that Dante and/or Sonny will figure it out before Olivia spills the secret? Dante is, after all, a detective. And Sonny...well, Sonny's got Jason and Jason is an incredible detective. ;-) Can you tell I'm biased? Methinks the truth will come out but not the way folks think it will.

Very ironic!! I am a fan of Olivia and she's a great character but I think it's time that she sit her son down and tell him the truth before the drama that is going to unfold explodes and becomes too much and too horrifying to watch. She loves her son no doubt and I understand why she kept him away from Sonny though no person should be kept away from their child she had her justifiable reasons but her boy is grown up and he is planning on destroying this man without even knowing that it's his own father he is planning on putting behind bars. It's gonna turn very ugly if this secret drags on and considering this a soap opera and General Hospital no less....dangerous drama is bound to occur soon and it would be horrific to see a boy and his father against each other and one gets shot by the other....

For all of you that are getting upset for Dante and Sonny not knowing that they are related.

Take it easy...... it will happen.

All of you forget that the character Claudia caused trouble with the character Carley and the character Michael.

The character Claudia had been killed by the character Michael.

Then the character Franco started causing trouble by knowing what the character Michael did.

(massive Breath right here) i think of that Carly would be indignant earlier each and every thing and then comprehend how plenty she has in effortless with Olivia and that she could have ended up in simple terms like her if she had made diverse selections. i think of after Carly calms down then she might resume her friendship with Olivia with new extra potential. i think of each and all the youngsters will unite and form a clean bonds. i think of so some distance as Sonny/Carly she would be able to be injury/at a loss for words yet will help her by way of is her new baby with Jax and the convenience of her existence that has moved on. i think of she would be able to return to benefit that Sonny by no skill knew and the canopy-up that coated Kate aka Connie. i think of she would be able to concentration her energies on bringing down Kate or figuring out to purchase her out. i think of that she would be able to hate Kate because of the fact she dated Sonny while she knew that Olivia replaced into pregnant or that she have been given in touch back as adults. i'm uncertain what variety of reaction she could have or every physique upon studying that Dante is a cop. If she unearths out that Jax knew it would positioned stress and stress on her marriage with Jax. i think of for a at the same time as Sonny would be disillusioned and indignant at Olivia. i think of after a while she would be able to be forgiven if she explains herself in great element. i'm uncertain how Dante will react. in line with probability he would be somewhat preoccupied with the triangle: Matt/Lulu/Dante.

I know what you mean, it was really touching to see them altogether but the whole time I just wanted to scream at Olivia to tell the truth once and for all..

I don't watch the show but I had it on in the background and I found it weird that sonny is STILL on the show. doesnt he have like 50 kids by now?
