AVG link scanner problem?
on every link on google it always show that the websites are safe there is a green tick next to every single one, then when i click on the website i get a pop up from avg saying virus stopped (cant remember exact words) or avg wont let me enter the website as its unsafe. Why does the link scanner not say that the web page is not safe when i am looking through each web page in google is there something wrong with the link scanner or is avg just rubbish

I have had no end of trouble with linkscanner - even if you disable it, it eats up resources and warns you you aren't protected. Apparently there is a way of installing AVG without linkscanner

In my experience, AVG tends to get corrupted and uninstalling it can be a pain.
If you decide to get rid of AVG, use the dedicated removal tool

You can then install Avira Antivir or Microsoft Security Essentials which are both free and light on resources

You can then use Mcafee Site Advisor as antiphishing protection
