I need adult book recommendations. (not dirty books)?

I am looking to read stories about people who have died and did not know they are dead and all the fun that ensues. lol. i am an adult, so i am not looking for teen books. Any recommendations would be helpful. thanks

    There is a great book called "A Brief History of the Dead." The characters know they're dead, but there's an interesting, strange element to the afterlife. I added a link to it below. It was one of my top ten books of the year when it came out.

    American Gods by Neil Gaiman has some of that. The main character's wife is dead/undead and her understanding of the situation is very vague. Interesting read.
