No, it can cause numerous diseases though. you may be thinking of lingua villosa which makes your tongue turn blackish and look hairy.

No, not hair, just cancer. You should google "Images" to see photos of oral cancer patients from using chewing tobacco. Then look at the "after" photos too. Those photos will show you the results of the surgery to try to save their lives after removing their chin, or jaws, or lips, nose, etc. Don't look at the photos if you don't have a strong stomach though.
