1923 is a common date Peace dollar. The obverse (Front) has a bust of liberty but it is not the bust from the Statue of Liberty. The value for circulated coins, that is ones with some wear depend on the price of silver when you sell it. Right now dealers will pay 10 to 11 times face value. Mint state examples are worth $15 and up depending on mint state grade. As for non silver has dropped some so keep an eye on the silver spot, any coin dealer can give you that or go on line and google or yahoo silver spot .

For the record, the coin designer Anthony de Francisci's wife was the model for the depiction of Lady Liberty on this coin and not the Statue of Liberty.
