Find an ethernet cable to wire directly into one of the 4 ports on the back of your router (It looks like rectangular phone line)
Plug the other end into your laptop.
Now...
Use this guide to find your router's IP address. You'll need it.

Once you have the IP (in the format #.#.#.#) open up Internet Explorer (Or Firefox if you have it)
type the IP address into the address bar, and press enter.
Linksys routers have a login of
User: admin
Pass: admin
Netgear is...
User: admin
Pass: password
once in, go to your wireless settings/security and look for a WEP or WPA key mentioned somewhere. In there should be a text box with a alphanumerical string.
That is your security key.
