I would do something with Electricity if i were you. Maybe a basic AM radio kit ... using Vacuum Tubes instead of digital electronics of any sort. Show the principal of today's diodes operating in the exact same manner as they did in the non-computerized world. I think, you'd be a big hit with this, they would love seeing a working vacuum tube radio....

Ok in my opinion go with atoms and elements and the chariteristics of electricity.
