Documentary Hypothesis?
Could someone shed a little more light on the DH (the theory which five different authors wrote the first five books of the Hebrew Bible at different times - Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Leviticus), as well as how it would affect what we know about the Bible's credibility if it turned out to be true (i.e., Moses would not have written his four books, so they are not actually credible, and Genesis could not have possibly happened)?
If you can, find arguments for both sides of the hypothesis. Thanks.

The Bible has never been a credible book. That has been known for millennia, so the truth of the DH is not going to change that one bit. Besides, the faithful will never give up their faith – they will carry it to their graves regardless of what the truth may be.
