Is he interested/serious about getting to know me?
I am falling hard for a guy I go to school with. He is a gentleman, he remembers every little thing I tell him, and he gives me the most intense prolonged eye contact I've ever experienced. He has also gone out (not dates, at least I don't think) with me alone on many occasions. He teases me a lot and uses lots of "accidental" touching in his body language--he is always touching my hands.
Are there any signs I can look for to see if this is more than friendliness on his part, or if he wants to start moving things forward? I won't be seeing him for a couple weeks due to school being out for the holidays, but I don't want to get my hopes up or be overly pessimistic either.
Apologies if that is difficult to read or confusing.

no its not confusing.
He likes you. Just watch for his consistency. Guys stop/slow when something impacts them in a negative or unsure way. So first return the love =] show your interest to him and let him know he is getting through to you and you do like him.
The fact that he touches your hands is real important. Guys that touch the girls hands and not anything else (you know what I mean) have nothing but good intentions. trust me. He wants to hold your hand before anything else, he wants to get to know YOU. You're lucky.

Awww, he sounds sweet! It sounds like he likes you, if not a lot then at least he wants to be good friends. If nothing has happened, though, I'll bet he's waiting for you to make the first move. So, hold his hand, don't be afraid, and see what happens. It sounds like whatever happens, you and this guy are going to have a lasting relationship, either as friends or (for you, hopefully) more. He definitely likes you :)
Or at least wants to get to know you better on a more deep and personal level.
