are you a 'go get her'...?

I'm more of a "move her 'n shake her".

I made sure my girls got a ride home, even if I had to get up from sleep to do it.

Yeah, I'll get up,

put on my robe,

go out and start the car,

come back inside,

wash my face,

brush my teeth,

get dressed,

put on my shoes,

put on my sweater,

put on my overcoat,

put on my scarf,

grab my keys and my wallet,

throw a little more water on my face,

lock the house,

get in the car,

drive alllllllllll the way over to where she is,

go inside and get her (because I forgot my cell phone)

and drive back home.

god. the things a man does for his daughter.

"it's ok, sweetheart. good night."

i suppose i'm a go get her but then again,"she" could be a serial axe-murderer prentending to be a lost, hot ,innocent girl with no where to go
