He has opened up a branch toy factory at the South Pole so yes, some of his deliveries will be from a southerly direction.

Both ways. He makes a long trip from North to South, then turns around and goes from South the North. He zig-zags back and forth this way until he covers the whole Earth.

long story, the north pole has been captured and attacked by the tooth fairy.. and so santa had to back out and so is now taking refuge in pakistan
