Does RB2 drums and guitar work on band hero and guitar hero 5 on PS3?

pretty much im going to buy the RB2 set. Can the RB2 drums and guitar work on band hero and guitar hero 5 or do i have to buy GH instruments? I also know there are matrices for instrument compatability but i want some first hand advice. Thx

    Yes, you can use RB2 drums on GH5 and Band Hero. The game will automatically compress 2 inputs out of the 5.
