how much does it cost to visit a dentist without insurance?

I've been having really bad toothaches and I'm in desperate need of a dentist.I have no insurance,so I was wondering how much it would cost to see a dentist without insurance.

    They would initially charge you for a limited exam and a PA(a specialized x-ray needed to view the apex/root tip.) Offices can vary so much in price, I would guesstimate about $50. Again, they vary in price feom office to office, you would have to call for sure. Then they will inform you of necessary treatment from there.
