Here it is !
Fantasy Fudge
Yes, this is the original Fantasy Fudge recipe from the back of the Kraft Marshmallow Creme jar and the Chocolate Chips.
I'll never know why they changed the recipe on us, but I've preserved the recipe for you right here.
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 12-oz. (340 g) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 7-oz. Jar (198 g) Kraft Marshmallow creme
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Traditional method:
Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy 2-1/2 quart saucepan; bring to full rolling bail, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate till melted. Add marshmallow creme, nuts & vanilla beat till blended. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Let cool and cut into 1-inch squares
Microwave method:
Microwave margarine in 4-quart microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) 1 minute or until melted.
Add sugar and milk; mix well. Microwave on HIGH 5 minutes or until mixture begins to boil, stirring after 3 minutes. Mix well; scrape bowl. Continue microwaving on HIGH 5-1/2 minutes; stir after 3 minutes.
Stir in chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Cool at room temperature; cut into squares. Makes 3 pounds.
Note:
Can be made in a smaller pan for thicker squares (yield will be reduced).

Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4 min. or until candy thermometer reaches 234°F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat.
ADD chocolate and marshmallow creme; stir until completely melted.
Add walnuts and vanilla; mix well.
POUR immediately into prepared pan; spread to form even layer in pan. Let stand at room temperature 4 hours or until completely cooled; cut into 1-inch squares. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
Kraft Kitchens Tips
Size-Wise
A serving of this sweet treat is two squares. You'll find that a small portion goes a long way on chocolate flavor.
Variation - Classic Fantasy FudgePrepare recipe as directed, using 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) margarine and substituting 1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips for the chopped BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate and a 13x9-inch baking pan for the 9-inch square pan.

My mom made this fudge my whole life and now I make it . . . here are my tips for flawless candy:
Bringing the sugar/milk/butter mixture to 234 degrees is absolutely required. Otherwise your candy could be graining and will not set-up well
With lids removed, put your marshmallow cream in the microwave for 45 seconds to make it easier to remove from the jar.
There is NO good microwave version. This is a stove-top effort. However, a non-stick pan is helpful.
Always splash the vanilla extract (pure, not imitation) in as the very last step. I use a smidge more than 1 tsp.
For creamier fudge use a tiny bit more milk.
Line your pan with parchment paper for easy slicing and clean-up.

You've already got your answer (above) and it's a good one. Just wanted to alert you to one thing: each square of Baker's chocolate = 1 ounce. So, when a recipe calls for 12 squares chopped Baker's semisweet chocolate, you can use 12 oz (2 cups) of semisweet chocolate chips instead.
Enjoy your fudge!
