Can men wear makeup? (Foundation or concealer)?

foundation is meant to go all over your face. so that is the one you would be needing the most. if you have acne all over your face. if its a small amount of acne like just a pimple here and there like on your forhead, and on your chin like just one or two then i recommend concealer.

buuut i dont think guys wearing makeup to cover up acne is good at all. i actually dont think anyone wearing makeup to cover up their acne is good.

it only causes more acne and takes longer for that single pimple to clear up.

aaand since your a guy...and striaght....then dont wear makeup...

I think Clinique makes a makeup for men. But Ive applied Bare Minerals on men before. It helps knock out redness and is really light and wouldn't be obvious. Concealer is for covering small areas like pimples, scars or under eye circles. Foundation is used all over the face to even out skin tone and redness, and has a lighter consistency than concealer.

Of course :) Although I don't care for eye make up on men. Face make up is completely fine.

Remember to take care of your skin. Find a routine with a cleanser, spot treatment, and moisturizer. Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick is a great spot treatment.

Concealer is for blemishes or dark circles around the eyes. Foundation evens out your skin tone.

I suggest you use concealer. Almay Clear Complexion concealer - it will hide and help heal acne.

If you choose to wear foundation also: Foundation can be a bit heavy. You might want to try a tinted moisturizer instead. It's much lighter and much easier to blend - just use your fingers. Physicians Formula makes one. You can find both of these products at Target, or Wal Mart. Be sure to wash all of the make up off properly at night.

Yes! Men can wear make-up and theres nothing wrong with it. My cousin wore small amounts of concealer to cover up acne and acne scars and nobody even noticed.

Foundation is put all over the whole face or just in desired areas to cover up redness, un-even skin tone small acne etc. Its more of a runny liquid.

Concealer is thicker and is used to cover up more concentrated areas like acne, dark spots, bags under your eyes (things like that) not the whole face.

You can get foundation and concealer at any drug store like cvs or walgreens and major stores like walmart, target, etc. As for your acne i highly recommend plain dove soap in a bar (its hard in a bar not like bodywash just in case you didnt know). My cusin the same one that used makeup to cover up his acne tried EVERYTHING! So he went to his doctor and the doctor said to try it and it worked! He has very little if any acne now.

foundation is used to for all over your face, and the concealer is worn under the foundation for extra coverage on pimples, zits, beauty marks or watever needs covering :]

you can get makeup at chemists, drugstores, supermarkets, and places like that.

i'd go for a powder foundation instead of a liquid foundation. but it depends what you like, liquid foundation would proably give you better coverage though.

[when he says compact foundation it means the same thing as powder foundation, and dont put the makeup on you neck because it just makes it more noticable.] [he put the concealer under his eye's to get rid of dark circles like bags. when you put concealer on pimples ect. you just dab on the concealer and pat it untill it's blended a bit dont rub it or spread it around. it's probably better to put the concealer on before the foundation aswell.]

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...
