Why do so many theists think that atheists 'blame' or 'hate' god, when, by definition, we don't believe?

I think that most theists are so enveloped by their religion that they honestly cannot comprehend a life without a god, so they just assume that atheists believe in god, but rebel against him or some crap like that.

It's such a stupid idea. I don't hate the judeo-christian god anymore than I hate Zeus, Thor, or any other nonexistent being.

It is clever to me that in case you haven't got self assurance in Him then you definately do not hate him b/c you think of there is not something there to hate. i think of a few Christians or different theists could argue that each and each individual has an inate potential to correctly known that God exists so which you're getting in comparison God given potential by potential of denying His existance. In that gentle, it would desire to be considered hating him b/c you refuse to correctly known Him merely like it may be hating the government by potential of going out of your thank you to disclaim that it has any means over you. Does that make sense? I agree approximately Leprachauns however! Ha!

Time for them to understand it is not about belief, God or Jesus but about the intolerance, hatred and persecution from those terribly BAD christian attitudes and conduct!!

As soon as Christians rediscover the loving god and start acting like it the problem will cease!!!!

Of course until then christianity will increasingly get called the "Nasty Religion"!!

Its only because we're against "atheists beliefs" but its never right to judge. I completely disagree with the fact of a person being an atheist but its their choice and their way of living.

I like your question, but blame for what? If, in your eyes, God does not exist, then you can't hate God, right?

Yet, you might hate What God stands for, or an atheist might blame the religion of God for war, and other ills in society.

If atheists hate what God stands for, then atheists acknowledge the existence of Jehovah God.

However, sinful mankind brings all to many problems on themselves.

I don't know about other theists, but I know for sure most atheists disbelieve in God having been one myself.

However, I will say through my experiences that atheists talk about God as much or frankly even more than theists themselves.

Because they believe in God and don't want to see things from the other side.

Because if they define us as blaming or hating god, then they sort of have an argument/case in some of the things they say and try to justify.

Why do you folks keep asking about a being in whom you claim NOT to believe? Why are you obsessed? Get over it.

Some of you are always whining and hating on us and on God. You SAY how much you hate Him and hate us. You are bitter and angry.

You blame all the ills of the world on God.

That makes NO SENSE at all IF you say you do not believe in Him.

In my experience I have found the craziest and most psychotic serial killers were extremest of one religion or another......hell history shows how the catholic religion use to kill, YES kill people for not believing or following their religious beliefs........there's something I want to be associated with......NOT!
