Do you think any Kiwis who play in Europe could make the All Black's squad at the moment?

Well do you?

There are some great New Zealanders playing in Europe at the moment, the likes of Rico Gear and Aaron Mauger have both been capped for the All Blacks on previous occasions. At the moment they are both contracted to English clubs. (Leicester Tigers and Worcester Warriors).

So, who do you think could make it?

Rico Gear would never get picked, just like his bro Hosea. Before Rico left for Europe, he was the best try scorer in super rugby of that year, he was in form, just like Hosea this year. The coaches have some bias against them, I would have liked to see Rico move in to 13, but he will never get another chance with these coaches. I think there is only 2 world class players this regime would bring back, and thats Hayman and possibly Nick Evans, thats if the Mcalister gamble doesnt work out to cover Carter, I dont think Howlet, especially with Cory jane, Kahui, and Guilford covering wing.

Who ever said SBW, he would never be an all black, he is selfish, its not a trait that conforms to the all black culture, he would never compare to Kahui or Smith.

How can you omit SKD, should be first picked. Deserved Dally M centre. 1. Lance Hohaia 2. Manu Vatuvei 3. Lewis Brown 4. Shaun Kenny Dowall 5. Tony Williams 6. Benji Marshall 7. Keiran Foran 8. Fuifui Moi Moi 9. Isaac Luke 10. Sam Rapira 11. Simon Mannering 12. Bronson Harrison 13. Frank Paul Nuuasala 14. Nathan Fien 15. Jared Waerea Hargreaves 16. Adam Blair 17. Frank Pritchard (just holds on to the bench) That was hardest Kiwi team i've ever assembled. The dominance of the Kangaroos is OVER!

The only person I see returning is Carl Hayman. It's about time New Zealand has a good fill in for tighthead. Tialata is dead weight - he's unfit, slow and useless.

But who I'd like to see making his debut for the All Blacks is Sonny Bill Williams. I disagree with blm in regards to him challenging for a loose forward spot. Most league converts have usually played in the outside backs (wing/ outside centre/ fullback) in the union code. However yes, as blm said, Sonny Bill could put up a good fight at outside centre or maybe even inside centre.

The coaches have to be careful though. Look at what they did to Luke McAlister. They rushed him back into the squad thinking he would fix the All Blacks' problems but he didn't. No matter how good a reputation their former players have, they need to slowly run them through what I called "New Zealand rugby filtration" - giving them game time in the NPC so they can get used to the NZ brand of rugby. They didn't do that for McAlister and now look at what happened...

I suspect that Doug Howlett (Munster) could still have a shot at the moment. But he's thirty-one now, and would probably be past it for the next World Cup.

I think Sonny Bill Williams could still qualify as a Kiwi for the Union code? He might challenge for a centre, or even a loose forward position.

The key there is squad there would be quite a few ... Carl Hayman would walk in to the starting team. Nick Evans would be a shoe in for the squad . Marty Hollah , Aaron Mauger and Byron Kelleher would be better than any of the backups to the starting team easily

No. Either they weren't good enough to cut the mustard in the 1st place or they're having a laugh/are past it.
