Why is my sim unable to cook in Sims 3?
My character in the Sims 3 has read 3 cooking books and is on level 3 cooking skill but can't cook anything. If I click on the fridge and choose "Serve Dinner" or "Have Dinner" you can't click on any other options and she can only have quick meals. She has a stove.
Yeah I bought ingredients.

There must be something slightly wrong with your game because even if your sim has no cooking skill or no ingredients in the fridge he/she should still be able to cook. Unless you don't have a free counter for your sim to use. You already have a stove but if there is no counter your sim isn't able to prepare a single meal. But if you have got a counter and a stove that can be used and you can't cook there must be a glitch. If so try moving them out and moving them back in or have your sims buy whole new kitchen equipment. Hope this helped.

Maybe she has to get the suppiles like for example if she wants to make cake shes obviously going to have to have the milk! Or she needs bread to make peanut butter sandwiches. In sims 3 theres a market store to buy some food.

Is there any food in the fridge? See if you can stock it. Go to the bookstore & buy some recipes, go to the grocery & buy some stuff to make them with.
