How would you describe one-sided love?

One sided love is when you do everything for the other person and they don't show appreciation.

You cook a nice dinner for your "other"person and they just eat it and don't acknowledge it, complain that they would have rather had something else for dinner then what you cooked, tell you that the dinner tasted like crap, etc.

You go out of your way to help the "other" person with a project and they say they did all the work and how well it looks of what they did.

You and "Other" person go to movies and see only movies "Other likes to see.

Your "Other" person comes home from work and complains about their day at work and you want to talk about your day, they tell you they don't feel like talking and this is a daily event.

"Other" person tells you that things you do are not good enough. Tells you that you are stupid and can't figure things out. Or tells you they wish you were more like someone else they think is great.

I could go on and on about my "Other" person that was a one sided love besides verbally abusive. That person is no long with me and I have found some one who appreciates me for me.

A dog and your leg. Yep, that's pretty much one-sided love.
