How do you transfer songs from your itunes to windows media player?

I used to have an ipod nano but I recently perchased a sony 8gb mp3 because they are cheaper and I need to know how to get the songs off my itunes into windows media player or i need to know how to sync the songs that are in my itunes to my sony. thanks(:
