Would you Rather be blind ?

I was wondering If Im not happy with my the world I see and myself. [

I can't help but to be brainwashed by the media and socetys expectations of women and the meaning of beautiful. ] Even being aware of that I still can't accept myself and not happy with what I see ..maybe its bette If i was blind. It will be easier to see the truth and beauty ...sounds weird but the most beautiful things in life can't be seen or touched but felt in the heart. does anybody els feel the same sometimes?

No, people would only take advantage of the blindness.

I think you are onto something... you can become a bit more blind by paying attention to what is in a person's mind. As I age, I see romance, passion, love, attraction measured by beliefs, reason, empathy... not by the physical package someone happens to be in, not even how much they invest in maintaining or presenting it. Yes, I like seeing a fit, athletic, pretty body, but I know that takes me nowhere in loving that person. Keep your eyes to enjoy beauty and help you interact with the physical world, but set aside your eyes when finding and nurturing friendship.

I am highly grateful to God for what I already have by the grace of God. I am already gifted with blindness. I am not able to distinguish or discriminate what is good and what is bad in spite of having eyes. I am not able to see any reason for having eyes.

    No.

As a man/ or woman thinketh in their heart, so is he/she.

it all depends on what you focus on....
