How do I unlock all the songs in Rock Band? I have the code, but I can not figure out how to enter them?

Please give detailed instructions on the way to enter the code into the game?

Update:

everytime I go to press the red button on the guitar, it throws me back to the previous menu?

    At the main menu, select the "Extras" option.

    Choose the "Modify Game" selection.

    There should be a thing that says something like 'unlock all songs'

    press red yellow blue red red blue blue red yellow blue really fast.
