Excel file created on PC does not open on Mac?

Why?

And another file created on PC opens the first time on the Mac but not thereafter?

Why?

What can I do?

Update:

Ok - what file type can Mac open that supports a workbook rather than just an individual worksheet?

Does the Mac have an application such as Microsoft Office for the Mac, iWorks, or Open Office?

If so, make sure the Excel file is saved to a version the Mac can open.

bypass back on your unique record created in Excel for the Mac because of the fact the record which you're engaged on is possibly tousled previous restore by potential of the distinctive conversions which you have subjected the record to.
