Is the LOLCAT Bible worthwhile, sacrilegious, or just silly?

It is an interesting social project. The content is not sacrilegious - it represents an actual (albeit satirical) dialect, and a relatively accurate translation into that dialect. I, for one, will be ordering my copy as soon as the book is available.

On another note, people have rightly observed that the LOLCAT Bible is, so far, a more accurate translation than the so-called "Conservative Bible Project" sponsored by Conservapedia.

Wow.... Firstly, some people have WAY too much time on their hands...

But, it's hillarious! I seriously have trouble putting it down!

Honestly, I don't really think it's a mockery, per se. It seems to be a genuine translation. Although, note from the guidelines that it's intended to be a "fun" translation, rather than a serious one. This also has teh added benefit of making it enjoyable and interesting to read.
