Lost wallet with social security card, state id, debit card, and birth certificate.?

Like I said, I lost my wallet which contained my social security card, state id, debit card, and birth certificate. I had everything in there as I was going to the bank to open a checking/savings account and as I had needed all of the above to open my first account, I had brought along everything. Unfortunately on my way home on the bus, it fell out of my coat pocket. How should I go about getting everything back? I do not have a passport. I have already contacted the NJ Transit and filed a lost and found report. My debit card was a temp one from Bank of America as they are sending my permanent one in through the mail. What should I try to get back first?

Update:

I live in New Jersey.

My sister had a similar situation but her whole purse was stolen. She had filed a police report because like you her License, Passport, Birth Certificate, SS Card, Debit Card and many other Credit Cards were in there. The police report is what she had used to apply for a new license. The temporary license along with the police report once again, was used to apply for the others. If your parent's can find your expired passport...that will help alot. You should also consider having your credit monitored. Identity theft is so HUGE right now. Good Luck!!!
