I need help figuring out what is wrong with my Lexus GX-470.?
I have a GX-470 and the VSC lights keep coming on and the slippery symbol sign always stays on. Also the RPM needle sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Can you please help me figure out what is going wrong to cause the above malfunctions?Thank You.

Both front hubs have a vehicle speed sensor in them. This is primarily for ABS, but is also used for traction control. There are two different designs depending on year, one is internal; meaning it is built into the hub assembly, and the other is external; meaning the hub and sensor are seperate components. On external sensors, it is possible that brake dust can build up on the electromagnetic sensor causing it to give faulty readings. This can usually be cleared up by cleaning off the sensor. An internal sensor can only be replaced, by replacing the hub assy.
Hope this helps. Christopher
