No. I get the same feeling as when I am about to get a Migraine - I can only see directly what is in front of me - everything else is blacked out.
I REALLY go out of my way to AVOID getting that angry, because it is not cool at all. Ever seen a Kodiak Bear on speed? That would be in RAGE mode - not good.

No, I thought that was mostly an expression not an actual thing.
Do you see red?
It sounds sort of cool!
And, on the bright side, if you see red, you could also be "seeing the world thru rose-colored glasses. Most roses are indeed red, and that phrase/interpretation has a positive connotation.

i believe it's a reaction to the stress and tension of the muscles in your face example people often react by gritting their teeth squinting their eyes and reacting with their eyebrows seeing white is common and seeing red is metaphoric eyes get red and the colour red becomes more vivid while angered
