CALLING ALL PEOPLE OF ALL RELIGIONS!!!!!!!!?

ok so basically dosent every reliogion teach us to love one another? I am a Christian and mmost of my friends are Christians and in my opinion some of them are hipocrites because Jesus says "Love one another as i have loved you" and If you are a believer, and hate a brother or sister, you are a lier.

and Judge ye not for ye shall be judged. Most of my friends HATE Adam Lambert because hes gay. Is that verry Christian? Yes, its ok n ot to agree with his choices, but not to hate him and judge him. God is the only person that has the right to judge you right? So then why are people like this and think there amazing hristians or whatever religion they practice? or they Hate Obama, and yeah can not want Oboma as our president, but hate him, and make rumors, and say you want him to die? Dont m,ost religions teach to love one another, and except him. and by us hating someone that is not setting a example for non-believers, like Jesus told us to.... What is your opinion on all of this? Is it verry Christian to think all of this awful stuff about people?

First, I would like to comment on your atrocious grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Please improve it, that's all I'm gonna say.

Second, you make a wonderful point. I always enjoy seeing a genuine follower of Christ. I myself am agnostic, but openly admit that many of Jesus's teachings are wonderful, and should be followed far more often by professed "Christians". Great post!

It seems to me that you already know the answer to this question but you are actually wanting to justify the way you really feel, by asking. If you are the Christian that you say that you are, you would not have need to ask something of this nature, you would pray for your friends. I think that your friends are you, and you are having these feelings that you are claiming. I have seen this time and time again that a person that claims Christianity get so spiritual that he/she forgets about me and see them. You lost creditability from your first sentence when you asked, doesn't every religeon teach us to love one another? You are asking about every religeon because, you are trying to sort out your feelings about your own religeous beliefs. Then you assume that your friends(you) are hypocrites because they(you) are not showing love. It only takes one religion to answer a question about love, in fact you could have just prayed to God and asked him, that is if you had the love of him. So you need to get your love story straight and then come back and post an unorthodoxed question, and this time have a little more intergrity. God Bless

I don't think they hate Adam Lambert but as a Christian, one of the ten commandments is to honour your parents, and it's a slap in their face to tell them you want to discontinue the family name.

I was raised Catholic, and I agree completely with you that God is the ultimate judge.

Obama is very good at what he does, and deserves to represent the banking interests of the world, unfortunately our society has given those bankers total control over our lives. That's why he is in the position he is in. Jesus threw the money-changers out of the temple.

No, you're right, we are not to hate the person, only the sin.

The doors of the Church should be open to everyone.

But we should also expel the evil brother from among us(1 Corinthians 5;12- 13, also ch 6).

Many Christians are hypocrites. I don't claim a religion really. I follow the laws & commandments, well do my best anyways. Well about "loving one another" I've been told people twist it up. But it also says stuff about enemies too. God doesn't like gays or unrighteous people. I think you just can't hate them or something. It's like a different love.

Just look up Hebrew Israelites & their beliefs. That's me & my husband. It's not really a religion so dont get it twisted. Some may confuse their beliefs with Jews/Judaism but its not. Religion is man-made.

I bet you celebrated Christmas too.You know its pagan right? And God/Jesus dont want you to celebrate it?It talks about decorating a tree(so called Christmas tree) in the Bible that you aint suppose to. So better take a look in the mirror before calling others hypocrites. Because you are one too if:

-you go to church or think the sabbath is sunday

-celebrate Christmas,Halloween,Thanksgiving,& other pagan holidays not in the Bible

-eat pork, shrimp & other unclean foods as stated in the Bible

    -cut your hair

-think God or Jesus is white

-think men & women are equal & that it doesn't matter who's the "head of the house".

    -aren't silent in church

I could go on forever. I mean there are many laws in the Bible. And things Christians & other religions do that they aren't suppose to.They believe false images they see or stories. They believe most anything in history when sum of it was stolen from others.

this is unchristian like behavior, many say they are christian, southern baptist, and other christian religions yet they hide behind sheets and do evil and harm to different races who are also christian, that is definitely not loving your brother or neighbor as yourself.

Maybe what would be best in the situation you describe is to tell your friends the same thing you are saying here. Don't be afraid to. If they turn their backs on you, then hey, the truth should offend them. you can talk with them about it or cut them off if you do not like what they say and do. If they cut you off, you have lost nothing.

What you said is correct. We should love all people and dislike their behavior.

I think in general people hate people they do not even know. The president being on of them. I would like to see all the people who criticize him to be the president for ten minutes and see what it is like.

It is easy to rag anyone. But God does indeed ask that we love one another.

im a christian also. i think that you should love EVERYONE, enemeys or not. thats what god tells us and its true. like im not a big fan of obama but i dont hate him. and same with like transexual, mormons, and so on. they have different views but we shouldnt judge them...its not our responsibility. we just have to show them whats true. its like what people say "what would jesus do?", "treat others as you wish to be treated", and do what god would want you to do. and of course our world isnt perfect. we need to be a good example to others. and plus what does hating someone do? does it get you anywhere?....uhh i dont think so! it just leads to bad stuff and thats not a siguation anyone wants to be in...or atleast i hope not. hope this helped! :)

Hate is a strong word, however its become more of an insult. Feeling hate is feeling absolute desparity toward someone/thing, feeling such dislike you wish to damn it to hell that all the misfortunes possible befall on someone, that they scream and burn while there eyes are being torn out only to have them regenerated and torn out over and over. Now society has converted the phrase "i hate you" into more of an insult, a joking act and sign of jealously or slight dislike or dismay, rather then an all out blood fued. So unless you wanna tear out Obama's eyes out and rip his liver out piece by piece and send him to burn in Hell for all eternity then i guess you have no reason to say you hate him.

Whoa, put down the wine and walk away from the computer. Oh and God Bless you for feeling love and trying to spread it. We need more of that around here.
