I know i know, just another "advice" question, look, i need help?
She has to come, i'll be at her house that day.
okay, so this guy that i like agreed to spend time with me on my birthday monday, and i invited my friend to come with me so it wouldn't be awkward.
We are planning to go grab lunch and hang out at the mall.
I really don't know what to do, i want it to be a day that he will remember, and hopefully like me back for....
OR, we were thinking of him coming over to her house and hanging out but either way i need advice for BOTH

Why did you invite your friend?
He's going to see that as you're not that interested in him, or you don't trust him.
Just talk with him, get to know him.
For the record, he'll wonder who's interested, you or your friend.
Better have a good explanation why she's there, and DON'T lie to him, trust me, lies get found out!

i say if he likes you back as much as you like him, then he'll remember whatever time you spend together, no matter where you are or who you're with.
but maybe you could do both - go to the mall & then go chill at her house afterwards. if he's seems down for both, then i say go for it!
