sun in? a yes or no-no.?

my hair is medium brown and extremely thick, i tested the product and it does go slightly blonde. i only blow dried it once then damped it and flat ironed the end (which yes i know is a bad idea but i needed to test the color) my hairs really moist, and flat ironing it and such has never damaged it to my knowledge. the problem is that ive heard it ruins hair and is impossible to dye over, however ive also heard that the new mix is better. please if youve used it in the last year or so and have thick, typically healthy hair let me know how it worked! thanks :)

My Aunt has gone to beauty school and is now working at a salon I recently told her that my sister has used the sun in and she flipped out on me and told me that it damages your hair really bad. If you want lighter hair then use dye it won't damage your hair but will give you a nice hair color. As for the ironing your hair when it is damp i have no idea. Hope I helped :)

i just used sun in earlyer it lightens your hair with out damaging it as bad as if you dyed it and it gets even lighter if you actually use the sun it takes a while tho but it works fine on my hair

    1) you can dye over it

    2) typically, it's only used to enhance highlights

    3) only use it if your hair is healthy and not over-processed. otherwise your hair will get brassy and ick...
