I mistakenly placed my Windows 7 DVD installer under a flatbed scanner. Will it damage the DVD?

I wanted to scan the Certificate of Authenticity of my licensed software and forgot to remove the DVD from under the flatbed scanner. Is this going to damage the DVD software installer?

No, it should be fine... but I don't know why you posted this in the Software forum! Optical media (like DVDs) and electronic devices (like Scanners) would be considered Hardware. Just to be safe, you might want to repost your question here: http://answers.yahoo.com/dir/index;_ylt=Ak2mIV1Hu_...
