Religious Help????????????

You don't "want" to believe in God. You want to be accepted. That's fine, but when you can't believe what others believe... well, it's belief! If it made sense, you would believe. Honestly, if you had been indoctrinated at an early age, maybe it would make sense to you, but you learned to think long before religion clouded your mind. Be thankful you have the right to choose no god.

There are many polytheistic religions that have gods of the ocean. Or you could be animistic, which isn't really an organized religion. If you are looking for an organized (or semi-organized) polytheistic religion, then there might be one in your area or one your ancestors would have followed, or just any that you find best matches what you believe.

Personally, I don't think a person needs to have a religion, but if one would bring you comfort or feels right for you, then I won't tell you not to have one.

There is confusion and wrestling in your spirit that makes my heart ache. You seem to be in such distress. You will never find comfort or answers in a religion so stop looking for it there. If you want peace...You must go to the source...which is God. Try this...find a quiet place, shut out the world, and ask God to reveal Himself to you...Tell Him that you want to bellieve but you're uncertain as to what to believe...remember to be humble and sincere.

Think of it this way...For example, what if someone came to you and asked you what it was like to be Jewish( you could clearly see that wanted answers) but before you could answer them they kept saying things like " The holocaust never happened" or " Your teachings and customs are stupid"

Do you think you would answer their questions? Or would you leave them to their incomprehension?

This may be why when you prayed there was no response...I cant ease your distress but God can..Go to him and he will answer all of your questions...

You don't have to believe in any gods to be interested in studying religions. My niece's husband is a marine biologist and atheist who wears a Santeria necklace invoking a water goddess to please one of his Cuban aunts. He doesn't believe it, but he loves sending her photos of him aboard vessels while wearing the necklace to show he's being a good boy.

well, look back at your root and trace your root to the very final of your ancestors. and you'll find that our ancestors were all from nothing which is nothing except a creator who lives forever. you mentioned that you had a hard time to find god because you can't see Him. well, it's very logical. we can't see Him, it's true. why? because when we talk about the creator, we refer Him as being omniscience, powerful and creating creation. we, humans bound to laws of time and space. but He, who created time and space doesn't bound to His own creations. why should He?

let say, man created cars and cars need engine and in the engine, energy combustion happen, so it can move. does that make us, human need the same engine to produce the energy? no, in fact, we have our own system which is much more complex - hearts, brains, blood, etc.

so how about god? He must be very powerful and very almighty to not have the same things as we are.

the next thing, why doesn't He appear Himself among His creations? look at jesus, the so-called god by most christians. but still, many rejected jesus, even the christians themselves. so can you imagine if the true god, which is not jesus appear among us. what would happen to Him? He has the power to cast the unbelievers, but i believe He won't do that because He loves us so much. and He needs no forms or shapes to re-form Himself, because He created the shapes Himself. and does that mean He needs the same shapes to form Himself? no, He isn't.

Your searching keep seeking. No one can or should tell you what to believe you need to come to your own conclusions. As for me I follow Christ he was revealed to me through many life experiences.Seek and you will find knock and the door will be open to you. God bless.

God is real.......He gave the earth to people and will allow them to use their free will to run their own lives.......most people choose to do evil.

The sacrifice God did for us to was to pay the price for our sins. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice...If we accept this gift of salvation, we can go to heaven because Jesus already paid for our sins.

Believe in unconditional love (Grace) then you will find the right one. Obey your heart. Peace.
