I am a Naomi. I love it. It's not heard often, which is what I like about it. It's got lots of n/n's too..some of which are Naams, Nomi, Omi, Nan, Mimi. Also Nay and Nigh- but I hate those! It works well for a girl of all ages, I have found it cool when I was a teen with some cool n/n's and I am happy to use it now as a professional at work.
It does occasionally get misspelled, and some people say it slightly differently, but that's what I like about it!
Middle names:
Naomi Anne- this is my combo!
Naomi Elizabeth
Naomi Kate
Naomi Sky
Naomi Leigh
Am I being biased?! :-)
EDIT: My parents call me /nair me/ The only people I have ever met who say it like that!

1- I love the name Naomi. It's very unique in it's sound ( I can't think of very many names with such a distinct O in the middle ) and it's very unique in general. I know one Naomi. It's not exactly a 'cute' name even though it's ending is generally viewed as babyish, and I like that quite a bit. It's very strong, and it has the same appeal as unisex names in that it's playful with a boyish edge. Overall, I'd give it a pure ten out of ten. It's on my list as a middle name for Matilda.
Naomi sounds particularly good with French middle names that don't have very distinct endings:
Naomi Susanne
Naomi Camille
Naomi Adele
Naomi Charlotte
Naomi Catherine
Naomi Giselle
Naomi Celeste
Naomi Scarlett
Naomi Louise
Naomi Claire
Naomi Alice
Naomi Juliet
Naomi Josephine
However, I think these work as well-
Naomi Tessa
Naomi Magdalene
Naomi Luna
Naomi Matilda
Naomi Eleanor

1) I honestly don't like it. It just looks awkward and it's hard to say. But thank you for putting the pronunciation there. I never knew how to say it correctly. I think the 'ao' part might have something to do with that. And for some reason, this reminds me of the beach and/or a very sad story of a girl and a whale. Don't ask me why! It's just what I think of... However, Naomi has a dreamy quality that most names don't. That's definitely a good thing. I find names like that to be rare and beautiful. Nonetheless, I do not like Naomi. I know I sound wishy-washy about it, but I can't bring myself to love this name.
2) It's hard to choose one that lives up to such a dreamy, delicate name.

I love Naomi! It has a sound that is all its own. (Very few three-syllable "ee"-enders are stressed on the second syllable, and the two adjacent vowel sounds also lend to Naomi's distinctive feel.) Plus, Naomi was a great biblical role model and her name means "pleasantness." One of my friends has a nine-month-old Naomi -- they call her Nomes for short, which is super cute.
Some middles that sound good with it:
Naomi Charlotte (Isn't this from your list? I love it.)
Naomi Sarah (my friend's daughter)
Naomi Catherine
Naomi Hazel
Naomi Violet
Naomi Rosa
Naomi Faye
Naomi Anastasia
Naomi Rosabel
Naomi Beatrix
Naomi Adeline

I generally use the alternative pronunciation of NYE-oh-mee.That's mainly because of my accent and the influences of the languages around me. However, nay-O-mee is also nice.
I like the Japanese meaning of the name and the Hevrew meaning:From Japanese 直 (nao) "honest, straight" and 美 (mi) "beautiful". The Hebrew is 'pleasantness".So, that makes the name more likable
It's a very pretty name and will age well. I can completely understand the appeal. It's exotic, yet, completely approachable and not wackadoo. It's a good name if you want something with a slight unique vibe, but, is really a very normal name. However, while I can appreciate it, it doesn't appeal to me personally. It's nice, it just doesn't blow me away. There are so many more Hebrew names and other names that I like.I think the reason it doesn't appeal, is because of the 'nay' or -'nye' introduction, it reminds me of some Afrikaans sounds.

1) I like it, a Biblical name that's not over-used. I think it would wear well. I see it as an apricot color.
2) Naomi Elizabeth, Naomi Rose, Naomi Marie, Naomi Grace, Naomi Eve

It's ok...the first person I think of is Naomi Campbell, the supermodel who beat up her maid and has anger issues.
I know someone named Naomi too and they call her Nao..pronounced nay-oh.
Some middle names are:
Naomi Michelle
Naomi Frances
Naomi Denise
Naomi Vivienne
Naomi Victoria
