PS3 connect to tv problem?
Hi I have brought my 40 GB PS3 in a trip. At home i had it set up on a HD TV with a HDMI cable. The tv i am connecting it to now is a non-hd tv and i use the normal cable that came with the system. It wont work. i put it on every input and channel 3 and i have tried everything. i have an xbox(but i like ps3 better) and the xbox has never been plugged into hd tv and it works. so it has to be a problem with the ps3. Can you guys help?

When you're turning the PS3 on, keep the power button pressed for a few seconds. This will enable the PS3 to reset its video settings. Either that, or it detects which settings are best for your setup and do the needful. Both ways, you get to enjoy your PS3 on your telly.

When you turn it on, hold down the power button until it beeps twice, I think that resets the video settings.

make sure it is off, then hold the powerbutton untill you hear 2 beeps then it should work...
