With a tiered cake of that size you can often have two or more different flavors (ex: alternating layers of chocolate and vanilla cake). Ask your bakery if this is an option!

    Good luck!

Mine was butter rum with cream cheese icing. It's neither white nor yellow (though it's yellow-colored), but you might like it.

If you want to offer options you can. Some couples do that... ie, white bridal cake, chocolate groom's cake, or separate tiers in different flavors. Some friends of ours had a cake of mini-cakes (like cupcakes, but classier), and half were white cake and half were chocolate.

Honestly, I didn't care if anyone else liked butter rum or not. *I* loved it. It was awesome. Anyone who had the cake said it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. If people didn't like butter rum, they didn't have to eat it. I did, however, also have mini tarts, cream puffs, rum balls, and petit fours.

We had a three tier cake so our cake was 1 tier of chocolate, 1 of vanilla, and one of red velvet.

It's your wedding and your paying for it. Have the cake YOU want. Maybe have chocolate cupcakes or something for other people.
