Will USPS pick up a cushioned envelope from my Mailbox?
I just moved to a new area, don't really have a lot of gas plus I heard from USPS that they will pickup small packages from your house? I just sold a video game to someone on eBay and it's the first time I've ever shipped anything to anyone. Once I purchase the USPS postage printout can I just leave it in the mailbox and expect it to be picked up?

Yes. As long as you've payed the correct amount of postage, the package will be picked up like any mail.

Maybe, but don't do that, especially if you don't know the neighborhood. I would put in in the mailbox if it fits.
