MTV'S Show "Teen Moms"?

I think Catelyn made a great choice. She knew what was best for her daughter. They went through with it even though it was hard. The parents are really trashy, I agree.

Maci- She is probley staying with the guy for her son. She wants to get married, but knows it won't work between her and her boyfriend.

Farrah- They gang up on her. They make her seem like a person who cares nothing about her daughter, when she does, but also wants to be social. She is going to school, modeling, taking care of her baby, and trying to keep her friends.

Amber- She does have self pity. It is probley stressful for her since the dad is always working and she has to do a bunch of house work, study for her ged, and take care of her daughter.

--I really like this show. I am not a teen mom, but I think it gives more insight then just saying those girls are $lut$ because that, for the most part, isn't true.

I have watched the show. The thing is, is that the young couples need to grow up a lot. Amber and her boyfriend are in need of some anger management and are drama queens. Farrah needs to spend time with her daughter and not all these boys. She uses her daughter as a way of growing up but doesn't take the responsibility. Catelyn and her boyfriend are great but they still want the rights for their daughter just not the responsibility. They didn't fully think it through about what adoption and the terms of their adoptions mean. Maci is the only one that is actually standing up and being a parent. She is doing what is right for her and her son even if it means taking a step back.

I would guess there is no teen dad because there isn't a market for it. This isn't discrimination; it is just a matter of people's interest. It's kind of like how they don't show "Golden Girls" on Spike. It is true that that particular show does SOMETIMES seem filmed and edited to make the fathers out to be worse than they are, which is unnecessary. However, I think in most cases the young men are portrayed fairly accurately, for example: Ryan--won't get out of bed at 6am to get the crying baby, when Ryan has been unemployed for several months and Macy worked until 2am? Gary--disrespects Amber's dad to his face? Amber's dad may be a POS, but he came to get her when her car broke down with the baby in it, and Gary couldn't even be bothered to answer his phone. Tyler--I have never seen Tyler portrayed negatively, and Catelynn's parents are nice to him. Hell, Catelynn's parents ARE his parents...

Catelyn: I think her and tyler make a great couple, I think they would have made good parents if they kept carly. I feel bad because their family is crazy and is kinda trashy and is not supportive at all. They only thing that made me mad about them is that they continued to have sex with out using a condom and lied about it to the nurse.

Maci: I think she is the best mom on the show. She spends a lot of time with Bently and I think its really good she trying to go back to college. Ryan is a horrible father and boyfriend, Maci can do much better than him.

Farrah: I think she needs to spend more time with Sophia, the show portrays her always having her mom watch her baby and her going out on dates. Her family is too hard on her, but I see their point.

Amber: She seems like she is trying her best and really wants whats best for her daughter. I'm glad she's trying to get her GED. Garry is lazy and doesn't seem like he does much to help out. When amber slapped him I did think that was a little unnecessary though.

Catelynn: I love Catelynn and Tyler. I applaud them for giving Carly up for adoption, because they knew they weren't gonna be able to give her a good life. I don't think Catelynn's family is trashy, necessarily. They just aren't as wealthy as the other girls' families. But yes, Tyler and Catelynn are the only people who don't fight!

Maci: I think Maci is the most responsible mom on the show. I am so proud of her for leaving Ryan, because he is soo not acting like a father. He needs to screw his head on straight. I think it's great that she is trying to go back to school. (:

Farrah: Farrah gets on my nerves so much. She's always dropping Sophia off on her parents, or her grandma, and it's like she rarely spends time with her. All because she wants to date and find a father for her daughter. Um. Dating is the last thing to worry about when you're 18 and you have a child. Farrah still acts like that high school cheerleader she used to be.

Amber: Amber needs to leave Gary. So badly. He doesn't support her with anything she's trying to do. School is hard when you have a baby (I'm assuming) and she also needed a car when her's broke down, and instead of being the good boyfriend he's supposed to be, Gary wouldn't let her use his. Ugh.

I do like this show, but considering they are all 18 and under, they will have their drama. I have to give big props to Maci. She seems like the most mature out of the bunch, Catelyn is a hero to moms everywhere. Farrah needs to realize, she just can't jump into the dating scene. She has a child, a job, and school to worry about. Amber needs to stop what she is doing and move back in with her family. She's the one who decided to quit school, and although she wants to graduate and make her own money, she needs to realize it's gonna be hard. It's a good thing she got on medication. But medication can only do so much.

It's currently my favorite show airing on tv! :D

Catelyn= I LOVE HER BOYFRIEND<3 they're the cutest couple, don't fight, and really do love each other I think. I hate both of their families, and I think it's bad for them that their parents married each other, but I think they were SO smart in giving up Carly for adoption with their lifestyles. I feel so bad for them, though because of Butch, Tyler's dad. Tyler is definitely the best boyfriend on the show :)

Maci= she is my favorite mom for sure. She takes care of her baby the most, and definitely puts him before anything else. she's super pretty, too :) I think her boyfriend is really mean and NOT a good dad. Bentley and Maci deserve SOOO much better than him. But i'm happy that he's trying to work it on, in the new episode tomorrow, I think. I'm happy that Maci moved back in with her parents, for now :)

Farrah= Farrah's sister was right, i think the other night. Farrah doesn't really take care of Sophia that much. I mean, yeah she's still a teen, but it's HER responsibility to take care of the baby. She's hardly with Sophia, at least in what they show. she's always out with boys, who end up cheating on her, etc. but her family is a little too harsh on her about it.

Amber= amber and gary don't get along at all. together, they're horrible parents. alone, they're not SO bad. i think amber compalins wayyy too much and is a little too harsh on Gary. he does work all the time, and take care of Leah sometimes. Amber does have a lot going on, and was diagnosed with depression, so that's got to be hard. she's doing her best.

Catelyn- yeah i noticed that and that's amazing that they don't fight like everyone else in their house

Maci- yeah i think Maci totally grew up and is handling being a mom better than the other girls, and her boyfriends a tool

Farrah- it almost seems like all epiosde she's asking her parents to watch Sophia but i mean we don't see everything that happens in their life you know

Amber- i agree she's totally verbally abusing her boyfriend and he's just kinda taking it.

Catelynn- Her and tylers family is waaaay f***ed up!!! But they seem like they have a good head on their shoulders. I think Adoption WAS the best option for them and I feel proud for them. I think her mother needs to step up for her when tylers dad is being a dink.

Maci- Ryan is such a dick and I think she really needs to scream at him and put him in his place. I usually sit there watching and yelling at ryan for her lol. Maci is hands down my fav. she is so mature and responsible. She is one tough chick!

Farrah- I can't stand that lil b*tch!!!! She thinks her life can just go on as normal and her parents will watch her baby all the time. I had a baby at 19, I lost all my friends because I could never go out since my parents would never watch my son. I am 21 now and I have only had someone babysit for us 5 times and my son is almost 2!!!! I hate this girl with a passion becasue she is so immature and stuck up. HER FAMILY ALSO NEEDS TO SIMPLY SAY "NO" TO HER.

and just to add: I totally saw when Sophia spit up and Farrah laid her down on the floor right INFRONT of the stairs!!!! OMG i got sooo nervous. What a stupid girl! Clearly sophia is old enough to roll over...ugh...I hate this Farrah girl so much I could go on forever!!

Amber- She's a bit crazy, but if I had a fat lazy bf like she does, I'd be crazy too. Sure he works and brings in the money, but most dads do and they can still be father aswell.
